Site concrete and structural concrete are both "concrete," but the work, the crews, the schedule risk, and the margin profile are different.

Sidewalks, curb and gutter, light pole bases, equipment pads, dumpster enclosures, ADA ramps. Lower margin per CY, higher margin per labor hour, weather-sensitive, schedule-driven by paving and landscaping.

The risk: dependency on the GC's site sequencing. If the dirt isn't ready, you don't pour. If you don't pour, you don't bill. Bid your standby.
